Welcome to the Literally Booked Solid blog!  My name is Allie and as you guessed it, I love to read.  By day, I'm a wife and mom, plus a middle school history teacher and personal trainer.  By night, I'm doing a lot of the same, but also trying to squeeze in as many pages as possible!  And no, I usually don't get much sleep.

I run on coffee, historical facts, and Bravo TV.  I like to think that my inner-monologue is a mix between the Hamilton soundtrack and random quotes from Anchorman.  You will rarely find me sitting still, rising before the sun and staying up way past my preferred bedtime to read "just one more chapter" (it's never just one more chapter, ask my hubby).  A proud Ravenclaw at heart, I love learning and discovering new books and authors that make me think, feel, and escape.

My go-to genres include romance, romantic comedies, young adult and non-fiction, but I do read outside of these genres quite a bit. I tend to read through authors and series like most people binge Netflix.  I find something I love and I'm all in.  I will enthusiastically share my new favorite reads with anyone that will listen to me.

 

My hope for this blog is to give my honest opinions of books, help you find new authors to love and suggest books for your ever-growing TBR list.  I can't wait to connect with you, and hopefully spark your love of reading further!
